Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips (b. 1939) is a leading figure of British Pop Art, known for his distinctive and compelling aesthetic that merges elements of mass visual culture, comics, and advertising with abstract structures and modernist references. Educated at the Royal College of Art in London alongside David Hockney and Allen Jones, he featured in landmark exhibitions such as New Generation at the Whitechapel Gallery and Pop Art at MoMA New York.
